He was predeceased by: his parents, James Authur Stone and Flonnie Childers Stone; and his siblings, Cecil Stone, J. Stone, Arlen Stone, Wylene Webb, Dessie Carpenter, Oleda Edge and Faye Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Wood Stone of Tifton; his daughters, Sherry Stone of Jasper and Angie (Richard Adamson); his brother Randall; his sister-in-law Brenda Stone of Tifton; his sister Inez Weldon of Brookfield; his grandchildren, Josh Adamson and Josee Bowers (Teddy); and his great grandchildren, Liam Adamson, Leighkin Adamson, Kynzee Bowers and Kayden Bowers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
