He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Luke; his wife Ellie Luke; his grandson Corey Cole; his great grandchild Tiyan Cole; his siblings, Waylon Luke, Wayne Luke, Kate Griner and Nell Merritt; and his son-in-law Bo Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Luke (Pam) of Alapaha, Cindy Cole of Nashville, Lanette Estes (Ren) of Tifton, Melissa Evans (Jay) of Nashville and Eric Luke (Stacey) of Tifton; his grandchildren, Michael Luke (Mattie), Jesse Luke, Blake Luke, Brandon Thompson, Shane Thompson (Tina) and Adam Estes (Paris); his children, Ashley Thompson (Charles), Cody Luke and Adam Cole (Jennifer); his brother Ray Luke (Evelyn) of Tifton; and his sister-in-law Gladys Luke. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
