It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monroe Jones (Tifton, Georgia), born in Warwick, Georgia, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert, Sr. Williams and Thelma Edmondson Williams; and his siblings, Willie D. Williams, Robert L. Jones, Robert Williams, Jr., Lindberg Williams, Ardean Parker, Clothie Ray, Johnnie D. Williams, Izell Williams, Joe R. Williams and Jennie M. English.
He is survived by: his wife Annie J. Jones; his children, Belinda Jones, Geneth Jones, Latonia, Ayesha Barron, Willie Poke and Eric Barron; and his sisters, Earnestine Rogers of Tifton, Thelma J. Williams of Warwick and Bessie Cummings of Sandersville, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
