She was predeceased by: her father Lester Griffis; her husband Tom Gregory; her former husband J. W. Whitley; her brother Flavis Griffis (Tate); and her sons-in-law, Earl Jackson and Eddie Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melba (J. C. McKinney) and Connie Hayes (Dana Alaine Jackson) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, LaRae, David Moore, Melanie, Kevin Skeath, Brian, Rebecca McKinney, Casey, Clay Darley, Melissa, Tom Laughon, James Jackson (Emily) and Whitley Jackson (Anthony); her sister Mary Jo Kelly of Moultrie; and her sisters-in-law, Billie Ruth Griffis of Adel and Lucille Delk of Tifton. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren.
