He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston C. Sturdivant and Barbara Jean Blanchard; and his stepson James Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sturdivant; his children, Barbara Webb (Jonathan) and De Sturdivant (Candie); his grandchildren, Bryson, Miller, Will, Ella, Opie and Whiskey; his siblings, Elizzie, Sandy, Wendy and Tommy; his stepdaughter-in-law Amanda Aldridge; and also, Barbara Blanchard, Ella and Zoe.
