She was predeceased by: her parents, Hisakichi Shirai and Tomi Shirai; her husband Charles Rufus Gay; and her sister Yoshiko Shirai. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Revell (Ken) of Tallahassee, FL and Ronald Gay (Christine) of Henderson, NV; her grandchildren, Cory Blake Griffin (C. J.), Kurt Vance Griffin and Rachel Turpen; and her great grandchild Braden Griffin.
