She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jefferson Barrett and Vera Cele Isom Barrett; her former husband James S. Yawn; her husband Alvin Maloye Denby; and her granddaughter Chasity Dawn Willis.
She is survived by: her son Ronny; her daughter-in-law Lynne Yawn of Tifton; her daughter Cheryl; her son-in-law Allen Vassey of Eldorado; her grandchildren, Jamie Yawn of Griffin, Jeffrey Jones of Tifton, Jennifer Yawn of Sycamore and Jody Willis of Enigma; and her great grandchildren, Alizabeth, Austin, Kendall, Tristan and Isabella.
