He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Powell and Winona Norman Powell; and his brothers, Charlie Powell and Ben Powell. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Powell of Tifton; his sons, JP (Christina Petsch), Brian Nelson (Brittany Petsch) and Rick (Niki Powell); his sisters, Glennis (Ed Sykes) and Lynn (Phil McKenzie); his sister-in-law Ann Powell of Maryland; his grandchildren, Mason, Thomas Petsch and Madison Petsch; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Riddle Fletcher of Alabama, Susan Riddle Gordon of Saint Simons, Dave Joe Riddle of Tifton, Tom of Tifton and Julie Riddle of Tifton.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial gifts may be made to Tifton's First United Methodist Church, 107 12th Street West, Tifton, GA, or a charity of choice.
