She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Green Marchant; and her husband James Alton Hester. She is survived by: her children, Meredith Hester Purvis (Chris Moseley) of Brunswick and Jamie; her daughter-in-law Megan Hester of Tifton; her grandchildren, Christian, Mason, John, Kayla, Katie and Addison; her great grandchildren, Landyn and Emersyn; her sister Barbara; her brother-in-law Wayne Branch; her sisters, Carolyn Kelly (Freddie), Brenda Gershon (Harold), Peggy Lindsey (Johnny) and Shirlene Goodrich; and also Donald Hester (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
