Though Laverne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S Hutchinson Ave, Adel, GA 31620). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (8879 Val Del Rd, Adel, GA 31620).
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Tifton First Methodist Church, 107 W. 12th St., Tifton, Georgia 31794 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
