She was predeceased by: her father James Edward Lawson, Sr.; and her husband Rev. William J. "Bill" Barksdale. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Barksdale of Albany, Gail Barksdale Woods of Tifton and Wanda Barksdale Paulk of Hahira; her grandchildren, Christy Woods, Shannon Carroll (Will), Matthew Barksdale (Whitney) and Joel Paulk (Kim); and her great grandchildren, Isaac Carroll, Noelle Carroll, Katelyn Carroll, Olivia Barksdale and Davis Barksdale.
