He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Azucena Rios Palma; his children, Miguel Angel Lopez Ray of Mexico, Maria Patricia Arteaga of Tifton and Sonia Ann Lopez Ray of Tifton; his parents, Asuncion Lopez Mota and Maria Chavez Flores; and his siblings, Alberto Lopez Chavez, Sara Lopez Chavez and Nicolasa Lopez Chavez.
