He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Tankersley and Elzie Mae Grimes Rasmussen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Tankersley; and his children, Jason Tankersley (Amanda), Michelle Moore (Bob Branstetter), Michael Ebersohl (Kris), Jessica Rutland (Steven Nipper) and Brittney Rutland.
