He is survived by: his wife Helen Jeanette Hale Scott of Tifton; and his children, John, Jill Scott of North Carolina, David, Pamela Scott of Tift County, Deborah and Lamar Collier of Turner County. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
