He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clinton Edmonson, Sr. and Margaret Myers Edmonson; his son John William "Buddy" Edmonson; his parents-in-law, Lott and Celestia Cromer Clyatt; and his brother-in-law Charles Clyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Clyatt of Tifton.
