He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Roscoe; his grandmother Estelle Bannister; his wife Kathleen Newton Bannister; his children, Nicki (Frank Jones), Lisa (Dennis Furlong), Terri (Teddy Richardson), Michelle (Marvin Clark), Jody (Jessica Bannister), Olan (Karon Webb) and Roland (Noel Waugh); his grandchildren, Jake, Sierra Jones, Kelsey Jones, Ashlyn Jones (Alex Mattle), Haley Webb, Alan Webb, Colten Bannister, Aiden Vickers, Landen Bannister, Nick Yeary and Harlee Cason; his great grandchildren, Jackson Bannister, Grayce Yeary and Chloe Watson; and his siblings, Linda Katchinska of Greenville and Charles Bannister of Tifton.
