He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Harvey Gray and Ruby Mae Harnage Gray; his brothers, Michael Gray, Ricky Gray and Pete Harnage; his daughter Lisa Marie Gray; and his close friend Lois Howell.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Abney, Vickie Gray, Randy Gray and Randall Howell; his grandchildren, Chasity McQueen, Christian Haines, Dustin Mooney, Gavin Wood, Zachary Abney, Cassandra Abney, Louie Abney, III, Kaylynne Abney, Ashton Gray, Ryland Howell and McKenna Howell; and his sister Mary Harris. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
