He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Jane Wooten Cargle and James Harold Cargle. He is survived by: his wife Beth Pate Cargle of Tifton; his children, Casey (Barry Sanders) of Huntsville, Corey (Jenn Cargle), Adam (Lacy Cargle) of Tifton and Ross (Chelsey Cargle) of Forsyth; his sister Jane; his brother-in-law Bob Walker of Brookfield; his grandchildren, Jackson Sanders, Nathan Sanders, Madeline Sanders, Madison Cargle, Logan Cargle, Emma Cargle, Ella Cargle, Asa Cargle and Audra Claire Cargle; his niece Beverly (Josh Walker) of Tifton; and his nephew Blake (Jordan Walker) of Smyrna.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Worship Center of Tifton's First Baptist Church (404 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794).
