He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin Rich and Dorothy Lewis Rich; his wife Barbara Ann Weeks Rich; his daughter-in-law Anna Louise Rich; and his siblings, Wilbur Rich, Ray Rich and Willow Jean Senkfield.
He is survived by: his children, Veronica (Bob Robinson), Ronald Lewis Rich of West Berrien, Rodney Earl Rich, Sr. (Barry Elliot) of Tifton and Jamie Rich of Troy, Alabama; his sister Betty Ann Beard of Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Jason Rich, Blake Rich, Ritchie Rich, Caleb Rich, Hunter Hall, Austin Rich, Miguel Rich, Rodney Rich Jr., Dallas Rich, Gracie Rich, Savannah Rich, Madison Rich, Olivia Rich, Elizabeth Rich, Josiah Rich, Ethan Rich and Elliot Rich. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
