He is survived by: his wife Irma Ruiz; his sons, Juan Carlos Popoca of Tifton, Javier Popoca of Tifton, Leonel Popoca of Tifton and Noe Popoca of Tifton; his grandchildren, Sophia Popoca, Jaylen Cade Popoca, Ariana Popoca and Juliana Popoca; and his siblings, Irineo Popoca, Eleno Popoca, Esperanza Popoca and Lina Popoca.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Albritton Funeral Directors (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31794). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Divine Saviour Church (1205 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794).
