She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Ceperko; her husband Clyde Martin Butts; and her son Clyde Andrew Butts. She is survived by: her children, Linda Butts of Tifton and Michael Butts of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Kathy Jo, Christy Lee, Loree Ann, Jennifer, David, Sheri Lyn, Leanne and Michael. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
