Hayley Elizabeth Bird Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hayley Elizabeth Bird (Decatur, Georgia), who passed away on April 2, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Hayley was a remarkable young woman. Hayley was a History major at Valdosta State University and enjoyed learning and hoped to earn her PhD and become a history professor. Hayley was an avid traveler in her young life and visited Iceland, London, Paris, Mallorca, Canada, Mexico and almost 35 states in the US. She grew up modeling and acting, did fencing, high diving, cheerleading and hunter jumper horseback riding. Hayley was an amazing artist, her art was in comparison to Dali style symbolism, always eye opening! Hayley had many, many friends and would do anything for them and was always very interested in charity work. After college she planned on joining the Peace Corps in Africa and then becoming a college professor. Hayley will be missed by so many, and will forever be loved.
