It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Gantt of Tifton, Georgia, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Rush" and Myra Patterson Gantt. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Mangham Gantt; his children, David Wayne Gantt (Sandra) of Fort Myers, FL and Paula Gantt Carter of Jennings, FL.; and his sister Mary Alice Hughes. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
