He is survived by: his former wife Ruby Esteen Whiddon Castagna; his brothers, Phillip, Anthony, Manuel and Michael; and his daughters, Concetta "Connie" (Charles Nickens) and Marie Virlin Castagna Penumadu (Dayakar Penumadu).
