He was predeceased by: his parents, Celerino Viruegas and Evangelina Salinas. He is survived by: his wife Juana Hernandez of Tifton; his sons, Luis Viruegas of Tifton and Fredy Viruegas of Tifton; his stepson Miguel Hernandez (Ana Escobar) of Tifton; his daughters, Rocio Viruegas (David Avellaneda) of Tifton and Maria Viruegas of Tifton; his siblings, Adrian Viruegas (Emilia Beltran) of Tifton, Celerino Viruegas of Miami, Antonio Viruegas of Mexico, Natalia Viruegas of Mexico, Marina Viruegas of Mexico, Benita Viruegas of Mexico, Olga Viruegas of Mexico and Gabriela Viruegas of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Angel Gutierrez, Yaretzi Gutierrez, Matheo Gutierrez, David Jr. Avellaneda and Noe Avellaneda.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Divine Savior Catholic Church (1205 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
