It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elzie Mae Grimes Rasmussen of Tifton, Georgia, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Grimes and Rosie Grimes; and her husband Gunder H. Rasmussen. She is survived by: her son Johnnie Clinton (JC); her daughter-in-law Linda Tankersley of Tifton; her sister Verlene; her brother-in-law Larry Bunch of Rockford, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michelle Moore of Missouri, Michael Ebersol of Missouri and Jason Tankersley (Amanda Tankersley) of Tifton; and her son David Grimes of Carrolton, GA.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a nephew.
