She was predeceased by: her parents, Rube Hobby and Vollie McDaniel Hobby; and her husband Alver Harrell Horton, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Alver Harrell Jr.; her daughter-in-law Candice Horton of Tifton; her daughters, Claudine (Tim Whitworth), Barbara Ann Pickels and Dora June Horton (Ella Elayne Horton) of Tifton; and her siblings, Jessie Hobby of Haddock and Beatrice Whitten of Twiggs County. She is also survived by several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
