It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Leighton Greene of Tifton, Georgia, born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman A. Greene and Ena Blanche Swain Greene; and his wife Fannie Belle "Pauline" Miley Greene. He is survived by: his daughter Paulette; his son-in-law Arnulfo Hernandez of Tifton; his granddaughter April Ann Pitts; and his great grandchild Jacob Landen Pitts.
