Dorris Virginia Chaney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Virginia Chaney (Tifton, Georgia), who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Chaney; her parents, Jewel Allen and Robert Allen; and her siblings, Henry Allen, Nelma Jo Allen, Ruth Allen, Bobby Allen, Angeline Allen, Johnny Allen and Billy Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Chaney (Danny), Mia Chaney Osborne (Rodney Osborne) and Denise Chaney Schnier (Brian Schnier). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and cherished her many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Albritton Funeral Home (1020 Tift Ave N, Tifton, GA 31793). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tift Memorial Gardens (1754 US-82, Tifton, GA 31794).
