He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Tidwell and Inez Stephenson Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Bennett Tidwell; his daughters, Vickie Tidwell and Tina Tidwell; and his grandchildren, Sarah Carwein, Jodee Tidwell, Matthew Faulker and James "JT" Tidwell. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
