DeeDee Powell Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DeeDee Powell Evans of Tifton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy R. Powell and Edith Henderson Powell Burt; and her husband James Richard "Rick" Evans. She is survived by: her children, Jamie (Pam Evans) and Jodi (Chase Lott); her grandchildren, Jaelyn Evans, Kelsey Evans, Bowen Lott and Brooke Powell; her brother Steve (Kim Powell); and her nephews, Steven, Abi Powell, Harlan and Kelsey Shackelford. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In recognition of DeeDee being a breast cancer survivor, the family suggests those desiring to send memorials may send them to the Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation, In Memory of DeeDee Evans, P.O. Box 747, Tifton, GA 31794, to benefit the breast health fund.
