He was predeceased by: his pet Daisy; and his parents, Roy David "R. D." Griffin, Sr. and Ann Harrell Griffin. He is survived by: his pet Georgia; his wife Judy Shiver Griffin; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Lisa Griffin of Scooterville; and his sister Katie Griffin Carr of Enigma.
