She is survived by: her son James Emerson; her daughter-in-law Shirley Davis of Chula; her daughter Susan Lynn; her son-in-law Dr. J. Durward Black of Cartersville; her sister Sarah Jane Thompson of Tifton; her grandchildren, Amy Davis Greene, Rebecca Black Clements and Patrick Black; and her great grandchild Joshua (Tamia Odom) of Wake Forest. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
