He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lawrence Jackson and Alice Clarisa Robinson Jackson; his former wife Elizabeth Norris Jackson; his wife Beverly Patricia Jackson; his grandson Jason Absher; his great grandchild Caleb Thompson; and his brother Lawrence Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Chip Jackson (Sandi) of Surfside Beach, N. C., Mark Jackson (Shannon) of Zebulon, N. C. and Debbie Ramsey (Wayne) of Matthews, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Beverly Thompson (Frank) of Worth County, Debra McCrary (Buddy) of Tifton, GA, Brandon Jackson, Sam Thompson, Dan Thompson, Joseph Gill, Missy Farmer, Lori Splawn and Austin Ramsey.
