She was predeceased by: her father Oliver T. Brown, Sr.; her husband Jesse Burks; her former husband Raymond Larry Turnmire; her son Michael J. Burks; and her brother Oliver T. Brown.
She is survived by: her pet Boo; her children, Jay, Robin Burks of Warner Robins, Georgia, Kim and Donnie Parrish of Richmond, Virginia; her stepchildren, Stephanie Turnmire Alexander (Chad) of Tifton and James Turnmire of Tifton; and her sisters, Vivian (Lance Tranium), Rita (Dusty Rhodes) and Tracey (Paul Lantiegine). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
