He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Alexander Sumner and Dovie Iris Griner Sumner; and his daughter Lethia Michelle Sumner. He is survived by: his son Tyler; his daughter-in-law Emily Sumner of Lenox; his sisters, Sue (Danny Crumley) and Jo Beth (Glenn Roberts); his grandchildren, Ella Claire Sumner, Madelyn Horton and Callie Horton; and his great grandchild Hagan Rooks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home For Funerals (420 Love Ave, Tifton, GA 31794). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
