We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Robert Joseph Galletta Sr. (Thunderbolt, Georgia), born in Savannah, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eugene Galletta and Lena Mae Lariscy Galletta; his daughter Karyn; his son-in-law Loyd Sharp; his brother Langdon; and his sister-in-law Sherrian Galletta.
He is survived by: his wife LaTrelle Hubbard Galletta; his son Robert Jr.; his daughter-in-law Becky Galletta; his daughters, Theresa Galletta (David Fincher) and Joan Galletta (Michael Southerland); his sister Beverly; and his brother-in-law Joseph Stuckey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Robert's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) or Castaways Pet Rescue (http://www.castawayspetrescue.org); two organizations dear to his heart.
