He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Wolfe McCarthy; and his children, Julie McCarthy Chambers Pittman (Tommy), Teri McCarthy Goolsby (Scott), Pat McCarthy (Gail), David McCarthy (Fran), Tim McCarthy (Janet) and Chris McCarthy (Karen). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
