He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Royal Petrea and Jesse Lewis Petrea Senior; and his brothers, Jesse Lewis Petrea Junior and Woody Petrea. He is survived by: his wife June; his sons, Charlie (Marsha Petrea) and Barry (Jessica Petrea); his daughter-in-law Linda Petrea; his grandchildren, Will Petrea (Jenny), Sarah Petrea, Cass Petrea, Owen Gillham and Evan Gillham; and his siblings, Shirley Varney, Holly Petrea, Sonny (Jenette), Ricky (Mary Frances), Tony and Todd.
