It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Wolfe McCarthy of Thunderbolt, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Anthony Wolfe and Marguerita Sellers Wolfe (Margaret); her husband Michael McCarthy, Sr.; her siblings, Charles Wolfe, Jr., Edward Wolfe and Frances Wolfe Kluck; her son Michael Francis McCarthy, Jr.; her son-in-law Gary Chambers; and her great grandchild Alana Marie Madera.
She is survived by: her children, Julie McCarthy Chambers Pittman (Tommy), Teri McCarthy Goolsby (Scott), Pat McCarthy (Gail), David McCarthy (Fran), Tim McCarthy (Janet) and Chris McCarthy (Karen); and her brother Donald Wolfe (Melody). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
