He is survived by: his wife Janie Hobbs; his daughter Carol Hobbs McCorkle (Chess); his stepsons, Timmy Hixon and Tommy Hixon; his sisters, June Hobbs (John) and Janet L. Hobbs; his grandchildren, Jonathan McCorkle, Brittany McCorkle and Chelsey McCorkle; and his cousins, Allen Hobbs (Ruthie) and Gail Field (David).
