She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Walker McCorkle and Kate Simon McCorkle; and her husband C. William "Billy" Brunson. She is survived by: her son Dr. Charles Brunson (Tammy Kay); and her grandsons, Billy Brunson of Atlanta and Bob Brunson (Bonnie) of Ila. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
