He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Mobley and Evelyn Martin Mobley; and his sister Emma Mobley Salemi. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn M. Mobley; his children, Dianne M. Henning, Patricia Lynne Mobley and Bryan T. Mobley; and his grandchildren, Steven Henning, James M. Henning, Jr., Tommy Mobley and Jennifer Mobley. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
