He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Palmer and Marie Cox Palmer; his wife Joan Palmer; and his grandson Jeremy Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Mark Palmer (Paula) of Augusta, GA and Tina P. Lewis (Shawn) of Thomson, GA; and his sister Frances McMichael of Thomson, GA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
