With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edward Knox Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Knox McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Meadows Knox; his daughters, Mary Ann Knox Cross of Charlotte, Laura Knox Furfari of Decatur, Georgia and Dottie Knox Thomas of Thomson; his siblings, Andrew Hall Knox of Thomson and Ruth Austin Knox of Thomson; his grandchildren, Dorothy Ann Cross, Oliver Roane Cross IV, Henry Austin Thomas, Robert Vincent Furfari and Samuel James Furfari; and his sons-in-law, Oliver Roane Cross III, Joel Vincent Furfari and Joshua Henry Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
