She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, Herman P. Akin and Alice Berryhill; her siblings, Richard Akin, Larry Akin, Steve Akin, Francis McDevitt, Martha Young and Sarah Appling; and her grandchildren, Amanda Piercy and Roslynn Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Hagan (Darrel) and Rhonda Jackson; her siblings, Barbara Wade, Elaine Ramey, Gail McCoy and Frank Akin; her grandchildren, Kelly Appling, Lindsay Campbell (Travis), Elizabeth Hagan and Katlyn Austin (Shane); her great grandchildren, Makayla Noggle, Devin Barrow, Heidi Barrow, Mariah Appling, Will Bass, Payton Hagan, Hudson Campbell, Scarlett Austin, Owen Campbell and Krystain Piercy; and her great great grandchild Lacey Piercy.
