As Patricia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Compton and Lee Compton of Atlanta; and her stepfather Paul B. Moore. She is survived by: her husband Burton DeWayne Patrick; her son Burton DeWayne Patrick, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Susan Evans Patrick; her granddaughter Caitlin Edwards; her son Ollie (Erin Cosby Patrick); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann "Rita" Hodgin (Jay) and Bonnie Agnes Johnson (Charles). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
