It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lucy Moore (Thomson, Georgia), born in Tignall, Georgia, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert S. McCall and Clyde Norman McCall; and her siblings, Lewis "Buddy" McCall, Juanita Bradford and Mildred "Millie" Bohler.
She is survived by: her husband Emory J. "Pete" Moore, Sr.; her children, Emory J. "Pete" Moore, Jr. (Linda) and Karen Moore Burton (Bobby) of Elberton; her grandchildren, Chris Moore (Cristi) of Athens, Brynn M. Rawlins (Chris) of Brooklet and Dashia Moore Cox (Seth) of Woodstock, VT.; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Moore, Sam Rawlins, Hunter Cox, Haleigh Cox Chynoweth (Tyler), Hayden Cox and Hinsley Cox.
