It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jones (Thomson, Georgia), who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Sylvester Jones (Shalette) of Thomson, Georgia, Freddie Jones, Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, Larry Jones of Thomson, Georgia, Dennie Lee Jones of Thomson, Georgia, Paul Jones of Thomson, Georgia, L. C. Durham of Thomson, Robert Durham of Thomson, Aphonson Durham of Thomson and Ronnie Parks of Thomson; her sister Lillie Bell Crawford; and her close friend Lucy Ross of Thomson. She is also survived by three sisters in law; eighteen grandchildren; fifty-four great grandchildren & one great-great grandchild.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the federal, state and local guidelines require that it shall be a social gathering of ten (10) people or less.
