It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Poss Montgomery of Thomson, Georgia, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Bush and Myra Lee Bush; her husbands, Dexter Poss and Floyd A. Montgomery, Jr.; and her son Cy Poss.
She is survived by: her sons, Ty Poss (Janet) of Thomson, Guy Poss (Kelly) of Thomson and Ky Poss (Adell); her siblings, Judy Garrison (Jack) and Rodger Bush (Janet) of Clarksville, GA; her grandchildren, Suzanna Sutton (Alex), Lee Dupree, Haley McGowan (Noah), Chloe Poss, Wesley, Chad Scruggs, Tres Poss (Emily), Kylie Poss and Brady Poss; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Sarahann, Austin, Sharlotte Sutton, Lee, Lily Dupree, Dex, Dane McGowan and Charlie Mae Poss.
